Frequently Asked Questions
The following are questions we regularly receive. If you have a question that is not answered here and would
like to know more, please don't hesitate to ask.
1. Is Challenge Farm a non-profit organization?
Challenge Farm is under the umbrella of Globe International which is a registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit
organization. Challenge Farm donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
2. What happens to the children who have "aged out" of Challenge Farm?
Children who are at or around age 20 are encouraged to apply their training and education to pursue jobs in
their communities. Challenge Farm does not dismiss children from the Farm until they are emotionally ready.
However, most children who reach adulthood automatically choose to leave to become productive citizens.
Some also stay at or nearby the farm as workers.
3. How can I become a full-time (1-3 years) missionary at Challenge Farm?
Link to the information at Globe International to find out how to become a full-time missionary.
4. Can I send items like clothing, shoes, toys, food, etc. instead of providing monetary donations?
Challenge Farm requests that you contact Cheri first to discuss sending boxes via mail to the farm. Many times
items "get lost", are opened and confiscated, or arrive damaged. It is always best to make arrangements to
send supplies via Cheri when teams travel. Many items can be purchased directly in Kenya and in most cases
is just easier and safer than to ship or travel with donated items.
Aim for perfection, listen to my appeal, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11
